DevFest 2019 fostered a global community spirit dedicated to exploring Google's technologies worldwide.
DevFest, an annual global tech conference organized by Google Developer Groups (GDG), included two websites in its 2019 program: the homepage which helped attendees find events in their location, and DevFest on demand. These sites were developed and hosted by Google Gather. I led all design aspects, encompassing UI/UX, branded illustrations, animations, and custom modules.

DevFest 2019 home page
The homepage was the central hub for discovering in-person DevFest events worldwide. I created custom illustrations and animations in line with the annual branding. The engaging layout featured imagery from previous events, a dynamic map for finding event locations, and video modules to share the vision of the program with prospective attendees.
The animated prototype I created, which our team’s developers used to transform the page loading experience into an elegant and branded welcome.

DevFest On Demand
This page serves as a content hub, where DevFest enthusiasts can explore and watch recordings of past in-person events. I designed the illustrations, animations, and UI theme for this site, aligning it with the brand patterns of the DevFest 2019 homepage.
